Where Redpath stands

Cost of living
Supports ending all tariffs, not only the Trump administration's. He says Americans pay over 90% of tariffs through higher prices and calls this a pro-consumer trade policy.
Taxes and business costs
Proposes scrapping the Internal Revenue Code for the Tax Foundation's Growth and Opportunity plan: a 20% flat tax on individual income with a family allowance to protect low-income households.
Entitlements and federal debt
Calls entitlement reform his top priority. Proposes a benefit ceiling, a higher retirement age and indexing benefit growth to prices instead of wages for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
Health care
Supports moving away from employer-based health insurance by ending its tax exclusion. He says this would create a more competitive individual insurance market with more power for consumers.
National security and military spending
Supports ending the U.S. war with Iran and withdrawing military bases from the Middle East. He says military spending could then be cut by 40%.
Elections and party system
Says he is running so there is a Libertarian voice in the race and supports a multiparty electoral system.
