Where Wrigley stands

Artificial intelligence regulation
Says he does not 'impulsively lurch for more regulation' and wants expert-driven public discussion of AI. Says he won't ask the Legislature for more resources just because AI is a hot topic.
AI in law enforcement and the AG's office
Says investigators cannot take the human component out of their work or rely only on AI. Has encouraged his division directors to look for responsible, ethical ways AI can save time.
Surveillance cameras (Flock)
Says Flock cameras have legitimate law enforcement uses but need a robust public discussion about where the lines should be drawn on privacy.
Social media and child safety
Points to his office's part in multistate litigation against social media platforms over age-appropriate access, saying the office will try to 'stay on the front edge' of the issue.
