Where Booker stands

Iran war
Opposes President Trump's war with Iran. At the Oct. 8 debate he called it one of the president's most 'colossally stupid' decisions and said it has left the U.S. in another Middle East quagmire.
Economy and cost of living
Says the Iran war and Trump's tariffs have raised costs by $4,000 to $5,000 for the average New Jersey family, including higher fuel costs for small businesses and higher health care costs.
Taxes
Proposes the Keep Your Pay Act, which would end federal income tax on the first $75,000 of income for most households and expand tax credits for working families.
Immigration / sanctuary policies
Supports local policies that limit cooperation with ICE so that people come forward to report crimes regardless of immigration status. Says ICE sweeps have made immigrants afraid to contact police.
Presidential pardons
Introduced the Presidential Pardon Integrity Act, which he says would stop the pardon power from being used to reward political allies and campaign donors.
